The 9 / 11 Remembrance Rosary

11 Sep

911rosary1  In 2011,  Ghirelli, supplier of rosaries to the Vatican, created a rosary that could be used in services honoring the lives that were lost on September 11, 2001.

911rosary2 Each bead of the rosary has the initials of one of the fifty states.  This signifies that the events of 9/11 touched all parts of the United States.  The reverse of each bead has a Miraculous Medal.

I found the Ghirelli site for that particular rosary and passed it along on Facebook. If they have a catalog, it’s better for my wallet that I don’t view it! I could go crazy there!
