Outdoor Rosary Displays

29 Aug

_DSC0240 Catholic churches and schools have developed many ways to honor the rosary.  St. Madeline Parish in Pennsylvania created a rosary display outside the church.  With Ave Beads (Hail Mary Beads) in white and Pater Beads (Our Father Beads) in  blue, visitors can pray the rosary as they walk outdoors.

Rosary gardens encourage everyone to pray the rosary.   Is there a rosary garden that you like to visit?  We invite you to post your pictures in the comment section.

To learn more about rosaries, read The Rosary Collector’s Guide by Gloria Brady Hoffner and Helen Hoffner.  This 152 page hardcover reference book published by Schiffer Books has over 200 color photographs of rosaries, crosses, crucifixes, and center medals ranging from those owned by Henry VIII to those honoring Pope Francis.  The Rosary Collector’s Guide is available on Barnes and Noble.com, Amazon.com, the Catholic Faith Store Online, and other book stores, religious article stores, and online sellers.
